Hello, and welcome to Beverley’s Dog Walking and Boarding.  I am a Full Member of the National Association of Registered Petsitters (NARP), membership no. 1758.

My aim is to provide a caring home for your dog.  Whether you are away for a few hours, a day, a weekend, a week or a fortnight.  I can also offer the service of walking your dog during the day, a one off or regularly.

What could be the reason for you wanting me to walk your dog?

You could be poorly, Recovering from an operation, Stuck at work, Away for the day, Weather is not good, Feeling tired.

Boarding your dog

Staying with me and my family is a great alternative to boarding in a kennel.  I don’t have pets myself anymore, so your dog will be the only one receiving lots of love and affection, good walks and plenty of playing.  Just like they are use to at home.  Your dog is not left alone for long periods of time.

Your dog is welcome to stay with us for a few hours or a day, whatever suits your needs.

I have a secure garden with access to good walks.  So, it’s just like your dog having a holiday too!  To avoid changes in diet you supply the dog food, all bedding, toys and treats. 

Does this sound like the right place for your dog to stay?  If so read on.

First of all we arrange to have a “meet and great”.  This is free of charge.  We meet up, walk your dog together and you see where your dog is staying.  Should we all feel happy to continue we then complete a form regarding information and the requirements of your dog.  E.g. length of time of walks, food requirements, reactions to livestock, thunder, the Hoover and games they like to play.  Also I would take details of your Vet, your insurance, microchip details, medical history and emergency contact information.  Any information you know about your dog which will go to making your pets stay comfortable and fun.

Unfortunately I do not take bitches in season and ask that all dogs use a flea control programme and are wormed regularly.

Walking your dog

Just like the boarding we arrange for a “meet and great” consultation which is free of charge.  This includes us walking your dog together and you can tell me if your dog is allowed a stick, or plays with a ball, how it interacts with other dogs, livestock, people etc.  We also agree the length of time and if necessary a route.  On return of walking the dog myself, I can dry the dog (if necessary), make comfortable and give a treat (if required) you decide.
